Hex Nuts
The most common document for metric hex nuts, though withdrawn since years, seems to be still DIN 934 in most of the European countries. Its design is similiar to ANSI B18.2.2. These hex nuts are produced in large quantities in asia at prices we can not compete with up to a width of across flats of about 145mm or 5.75 inches.
But if you require metric hex nuts with special features, for example a collar or a retaining element, or if you need an extraordinary material or any surface treatment and these nuts maybe have to be documented by an international classification society so the dimensions we can offer competitevely becomes smaller. Generally speaking: The more complicated or the bigger your hexagonal nut is the better it fits to our production.
